Yandex’ specialists analysed the demand for automotive products. The study was based on the Yandex.Market data on users switching to online stores during the period from January 1, 2019 through December 31, 2019. The most popular category identified was Tyres, and the most demanded products in this segment were models of the KAMA and Viatti brands manufactured at the Tatneft Group's KAMA TYRES production facilities.
The three most popular winter tyres models among Yandex.Market users included KAMA-505 and KAMA Flame, and Viatti Strada Asimmetrico made it to the top three summer tyres models. The winter KAMA-505 studded tyre is characterized by high cross-country ability even in deep snow, thanks to the V-shaped tread pattern with large blocks and a figured central rib, which works as a snow wedge. Increased stability during maneuvers is ensured by the presence of lugs in the shoulder area of the tread. KAMA Flame winter non-studded tyre is designed for 4x4 class SUVs and CUVs. The optimal height of the model blocks allows you to remove water and dirt efficiently. Improved grip on the road surface is provided by the tread pattern of a dogleg shape and wave-shaped sipes.
The Viatti Strada Asimmetrico summer tyre is the best option for urban use and when driving on motorways. Reducing the risk of aquaplaning is guaranteed by high-speed water draining grooves with increased elasticity located on the inner side of the tread. Even at high speeds, the load on the tyre will be ultimately uniform, and the movement will be stable. This is ensured by the specially reinforced massive ribs located in the centre and on the outer edge of the tread.
