According to online sales in 2025, studded models dominated demand for winter passenger car and light truck tyres manufactured by KAMA TYRES. They accounted for 81% of sales in this category, while non-studded tyres accounted for 19%. However, the demand trend in this segment remained unchanged compared to the previous year.
The most popular studded model for the year was the Viatti Brina Nordico (a model in the winter tyre lineup).

This approach allows us to create a product range for various scenarios – from everyday city driving to country trips, from mild winters to sudden temperature changes and severe frosts – in both the passenger car and light truck segments," noted Timur Sharipov, CEO of KAMA Trading House.
The KAMA TYRES Complex is steadily expanding its winter tyre range. For example, in 2025, the Viatti Nordico 2 passenger car model (the Nordico 2 is a winter model) was introduced. This new generation of studded tyres replaces the Viatti Brina Nordico. The new tyre features a tread with transverse grooves that extend straight out, providing excellent traction during acceleration and braking performance on icy and snowy surfaces. Up to 34 grooves and an 80% increase in the number of anti-skid studs (compared to the Viatti Brina Nordico) provide effective grip on icy and packed snowy surfaces during dynamic acceleration or braking, ensuring safe and comfortable operation. The central part of the tread pattern, featuring diamond-shaped blocks, ensures directional stability when driving straight and controllability when cornering. The blocks have additional broken sidewalls to create grip edges for winter driving.

Passenger car tyres:
• Viatti Brina Nordico studded tyres feature an asymmetrical tread pattern with an increased number of tread blocks and an optimally placed studs, providing superior winter traction, wear resistance, and reduced noise. Increased tread elasticity, as well as lamellas frequently located across the entire width, improve traction on ice, packed snow, and wet road surfaces.
• Viatti Brina non-studded tyres feature beveled tread blocks in the shoulder area, which improves slip resistance in slush and snow. This model cuts through slush more effectively, removing it from the contact patch. The tyre maintains a high level of reliability and control in conditions dominated by reagents, slush, and wet snow, typical of winter in the city.
Light truck tyres:
• Viatti Vettore Brina non-studded tyres effectively remove slush and moisture from the contact patch thanks to a special tread design with four wide longitudinal grooves with non-uniform geometry and sharpened edges of the central blocks. Directional stability is ensured by a longitudinal rib in the central part of the tread. Effective traction and braking performance at any steering angle and direction are provided by multidirectional sipes, which serve as additional gripping edges, and reinforced rows of blocks.
