On May 25, 2025, Nizhnekamskshina, a part of the KAMA TYRES Complex, celebrates its 53rd anniversary. The tyre maker in Nizhnekamsk was founded on May 25, 1971, and since then has come a long way from its first production runs to the status of one of the largest tyre enterprises in Russia. The Viatti passenger car and light truck tyres are in the range of its manufactured products.
“Nizhnekamskshina is not just a production facility, it is an enterprise with a great history, traditions, and a strong team. Over five decades, the plant has become a true leader of the industry, contributing to its development and providing millions of motorists with reliable products. We are confident in the future and continue to move forward — with a focus on quality, technology, and the trust of our partners and customers,” said Timur Sharipov, CEO of KAMA Trading House.
Once on stream in 1976 and starting to supply tyres for Moskvich and VAZ cars, the enterprise has consistently strengthened its presence in the market. Nowadays, Nizhnekamskshina is a modern industrial complex that produces more than 350 tyre models under the KAMA and Viatti brands, and provides 21% of the total volume of auto- tyres made in Russia. The company produces models for passenger cars and light trucks, ATVs and bicycles.
